Prenatal DNA Paternity Testing
Amnio and CVS - Starting at $225
Prior to a child's birth, GTL can perform a prenatal DNA paternity test from DNA samples taken during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. DNA Samples must be collected by your doctor (an OB/GYN) in an amniocentesis or a CVS procedure. In an amniocentesis procedure, amniotic fluid from around the fetus is collected. In the CVS procedure, chorionic villi from the placenta are collected. The CVS procedure can be used for early detection 10-12 weeks into pregnancy. Amniocentesis can be performed between 12 and 21 weeks. Call our toll-free number for more information and how to order a prenatal DNA paternity test with free test kit.
NEW! Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test
- Eliminates risk to the fetus
- Performed as early as 9 weeks into the pregnancy
- Simple blood draw anywhere in the U.S.
- No doctor required
- Results in as little as 5 business days
This exciting test is the first of its kind and works by isolating fetal DNA from the mother’s blood using complex bioinformatics algorithms. Once identified, fetal DNA is then compared to DNA from an alleged father to conclusively determine if a relationship exists.

Important Information About Prenatal DNA Testing
A physician (OB/GYN) must be consulted in order to perform a procedure (either CVS or Amniocentesis). These procedures collect and cultivate cells containing DNA from the unborn child.
