- STR
- STR stands for short tandem repeat, which is a particular pattern analysts of DNA tests look for in cataloging differences in DNA profiles. STRs are patterns in which several base pairs are repeated in sequences along a strand of DNA, each person’s genetic material exhibiting unique patterning.
