Power of Exclusion
Power of exclusion refers to the ability of a genetic test to exclude a man from the possibility of biological paternity. Power of exclusion in DNA testing for paternity is dependent upon the genetics of both the mother and child, and upon the ethnic backgrounds of the mother and alleged father.
